One day a fox fell into a trap. He struggled hard to get free and managed to be free but lost his tail. Without the tail the fox looked strange. He felt sad and ashamed. He thought and thought and hit upon a plan. He called a meting of all the foxes in the jungle. When all the foxes came to the meting, the fox without the tail felt pleased and said, I have made a great discovery. What use are the tails? No use at all.  Without my tail I feel so free, light and sportive. I can run faster than ever before. So cut off your tail as I have done. The fox’s listened to him with attention and many of them called his suggestion a good one. As a result, most of the foxes said, we will cut our tail off without any delay. At this moment wise fox said, Listen to me, please. Don’t accept his suggestion. That fox fell into a trap and lost his tail. Now he looks funny. So he wants us all to look like him. Don’t follow his suggestion. His trick big found out he ran away. Thus the wise fox frustrated the plan of the deceitful fox.

Once a thirsty crow was flying to and fro in search of water. But it found no water. At last, it saw a pitcher nearby and flew to the pitcher at some distance. It wished to have a drink of water from the pitcher. But it found that there was little water at the bottom of the pitcher. It entered it s beak into the pitcher. It could by no means reach the water with its beak. But it did not lose heart. Suddenly it saw some stones a little away from the pitcher. It then hit upon a plan. It picked up the stones one by one and dropped into them into the pitcher rose high enough for him to reach it. Then the crow quenched its thirst drinking water to its hearts content.
